This is the story of the not so working man, the American dream, and the failing illusion of democracy. Also, it's based on a true story - if you believe that sort of crap.
An ashamed failure, tracked cross country by a hired assasin, Edward Walker returns home to Waterbury, CT., former brass capital of the known universe. With the failure of Hollywood behind him, Ed hopes to restart his life in happy obscurity.
Waterbury is known today for Mayoral corruption, a fabulous new mall, a hundred foot glowing cross on the hill, and a new group of Superheroes. Three clans: the Walkers, the McKnights, and the Towers. Three sets of brothers, all interconnected - Adrian, Christopher, David, Matt, Neil, and Stephen are Ed's family for life.
Throwing common sense to the wind, Ed uses money he collected through a fraudulent life policy to fund a film production with the guys. But more than sibling rivalry and bitter grudges stand in his way. The team will have overcome evil theater critics, power madened teens, comic book nerds, and a faceless killer who's come to collect.
